Oceanside

Jon and I took a small weekend trip 2 weeks ago. We went to Oceanside, CA, it was fun. We had a nice relaxing few days at the beach. Our Hotel was 4 blocks from the beach, and easy to walk too.  The first night we where there we walked down to the beach, then walked a good mile just to enjoy the sights.  We went back  to get something to eat.  We where in the mood for Pizza.  There was a little Italian place not far so we went there.  IT WAS DELICIOUS! It was ran by an Italian family. It was the best Pizza ever, YUM.  We then decided to try and make the sunset and walked back to the beach.  We caught the end of it. We then walked over to the Pier and walked down to the end of it. People were fishing, (and yes it stunk).  There was 4 or 5 different ethnic groups, it was interesting to see.  By the end of the Pier we took a trip around the world.

The next morning Jon enjoyed a around of Golf at Goat Hill. He found out that they called it that because it was very hilly, so if you didn't hit it right your ball would just roll, and keep going.  He said it was fun though.  As he enjoyed his round of golf, I went to the Harbor and enjoyed some Ice Cream.  The Harbor was nice.  There were a few shops and was nice and relaxing.

That afternoon we enjoyed a day at the beach.  We relaxed and played frizbee most the day.  We then enjoyed a nice  beautiful sunset and called it a day.

The next day we went to the Harbor and the beach on that side for a few hours.  We then finished off our trip with lunch at Ruby's Diner, at the end of the Pier. We were told that we had to have a shake. They were really good. Jon had an Oreo, and I had a Turtle shake, yum yum!
We had a nice trip and the drive wasn't to bad.  We missed the boys and were ready to see them. Stephanie watched them for us while we were gone. She had to work that day, so Boys will be Boys.  They had a surprise waiting for us when we got home.  It had rained that day, and they took advantage of it. They had mud all over the floor, and yes that is how we found the rug, all torn up.

GOTTA  LOVE'EM!!!
